  • Full-Time employment: Students who complete a 3-4 years training program from an Irish university that the Irish Awarding Board lists are eligible to stay in the country for twelve months after completion of their studies. During this period, they are eligible to search for employment opportunities in the country and apply for the green card of Ireland.

Application Procedure

All the students who wish to study at the universities and colleges of Ireland have to submit the necessary documents along with their application to their selected university. Once the university verifies your records, you will get a confirmation offer letter.

A few things you must know about Irish universities:

  • Irish universities have two semesters in their academic year.
  • All Irish universities have two intakes in a year. The first intake is in September, and the second intake is in January.
  • You don't have to clear the IELTS exam to study at Irish universities. However, some Irish universities require students to clear the IELTS exam to study there.

The Irish government provides an opportunity for students from all countries to study at its universities. However, as a prerequisite, students must get a student visa to study in the country. But the type of visa you will need to study in the country depends on the student's age and the kind of study program they wish to join in Ireland. The Irish government offers mainly two types of student visas to international students: an A-C study visa and a D-D study visa.

To get Ireland's visa, you will have to pay €60 as a visa fee.
