Submit an Application

Prospective students must apply online through the admissions portal Official birth of UB. Applications are usually available before the school year. 

Academic Transcripts

Applicants must provide official transcripts from all previously attended high schools, colleges, or universities. These transcripts must highlight academic achievement and courses related to the selected program. 

Standardized Test Scores

UB typically requires standardized test scores, such as the SAT or ACT, for college admission. Some programs may have specific requirements or exemptions, so it is essential to check the program's instructions. 

Letter of Recommendation

Some programs may request letters of recommendation from teachers, counselors, or experts who can speak to the applicant's academic abilities and personality tablets.

Essay or Personal Statement

Applicants are typically required to submit an essay or personal statement detailing their academic and career goals, personal experiences, and reasons they chose UB. This helps the admissions committee evaluate the candidate's suitability for the program.

CV/Curriculum Vitae (CV)

Some programs may require a resume or CV describing the candidate's experience, achievements, and relevant extracurricular activities.

English Proficiency

International applicants whose primary language is not English must demonstrate proficiency through standardized tests such as TOEFL or IELTS.

Program Specific Requirements

Some programs may have additional requirements, such as a portfolio for arts-related disciplines, interviews, or courses prerequisite study. Applicants should carefully consider the specific requirements of their chosen program.

Application Fee

Normally, a non-refundable application fee is required. Fee waivers may be available for qualified applicants.

Application Deadline

Meeting the application deadline is essential. UB may have different deadlines for Regular Decisions, Early Actions, and Specific Programs, so applicants should be aware of and adhere to the appropriate timelines. 

Application Review

The admissions committee reviews all elements of the application, taking into account academic achievement, test scores, personal statement, and other related factors. 

Admission Notification

Applicants receive notification of their admission status. Admitted students receive information about registration procedures and deadlines.
